Edit; just read the last part... why would Dubois deserve slack at all? He's the one who whined and acted like a child that wasn't getting his own way to get out of Columbus. Then when he's given his wish he doesn't perform. He doesn't deserve slack at all. He's one of the most overrated players no this site.

Liked him ever since he was in CBJ and was pretty darn happy we got him in exchange for Laine
??? Look into the Dubois-Torts drama a bit. I did cause I was worried bout the player we were getting, and honestly the results weren’t surprising.. Torts forced the trade by essentially making Dubois life miserable there to the point he figured **** it...yes it was going to happen anyway but instead of a year it took with Laine’s request he was out in 4 days..

I really like Dubois, a big strong center who can skate and shown he has what it takes to play against the best and heck, in our regular lineup he’s the youngest
A young guy going through all the BS early in the season. All the trade drama with Torts, 2 week quarantine and being injured right after that missing his first games of his career. Next season is a different story but this season I don’t mind giving him slack
