Virtanen has played his last game in Vancouver. Seattle also isn't taking him and Lind and Motte get protected. Pettersson and Hughes are gonna get matching deals probably around 7-7.5x3

If Jimbo was going to let him go for free, he would have already. just because he is a media/fan dumping ground, doesnt punch his one-way ticket.

Roll the dice on outcome for Virtanen... Little over pay for Petey by 1.5m. I’m personally concerned with the lack of fellow countryman for Podkolzin on this team. Petey had other Swedes and so did Hoglander. No Russians on this team is concerning to me. Tryamkin left because no other Russians and his wife was isolated with no others to speak their native tongue. All in all not to bad..

If trading I’m going after Ivan Barbshev from St. Louis Blues for the middle six... Maybe sign Mikhail Grigorenko as well that would make a great third line and gives ya great PK guy in Barbashev

Beagle is already practicing with the team so I wouldn't expect he is on LTIR next season
