Proposed this exact trade for Crouse. Rangers accept.

Yeah I saw it from your post I like it better than the Howden Hajek proposals I’ve seen. Still not sure I love it but Coyotes need more help on the right side and I think the Gaut is underrated

Nick a sucks at faceoff, the exact thing wild sucked at this year

Would he be maybe a good fit for wild, yes but nick isn't a c, he's a winger playing c.

Nick know short term based for Minnesota back , sure but he's not better than Joel Eriksson Ek, & Marco rossi could be ready right away, 6 month or a year, & nick would be behind rossi, Joel Eriksson Ek

Not bad deal, but don't think fit is there

A little picky, but I would want to make it the Ranger 3rd. We don't have a 2nd so having that first pick in the third is nice.

Schmaltz would be the most offensively skilled center the Wild have. He’s not good at defense or face offs but he’s great on the powerplay and is a very good creator when he’s hot. JEE is a solid 2-way but can’t play at the same speed as Kaprizov/Zucc and Rossi is a great prospect but I wouldn’t rely on being ready for next year considering he hast skated all year due to Covid complications.

Wild fans hate hearing this but the alternative is to lose Dumba for nothing in expansion. Or lose Greenway if they go 4-4. Gotta think they’d rather add skill up the middle and trade from a position of strength than lose either one of those guys for nothing

My opinion is that after the 2nd round pick placement doesn’t matter anymore because every team’s board looks different, especially this year with Covid affecting scouting. I think the coyotes ask for Buffalos pick because they need to replace their missing first and could use it as a trade chip and because they actually like Crouse and it would take the bump in 10 picks to entice them to do it

Gauthier showed some skill. Think Quinn really misused him. He barely played at all in the second half of the season. Buffalo's 3rd Is also a near 2nd so that value helps.
