Description

Strome is not working out with the Isles... He also reportedly dropped the gloves with a teammate in practice? He's not a good fit over there, and a team like Calgary desperately needs him (Lacking quality RWingers)

Isles get a 2nd (40th-50th overall) plus the young, but massive (6'7) Keegan Kanzig, who is currently playing well in the AHL (In a shutdown role).. This might not seem enough, but Strome doesn't have a high trade value as of now..

The Isles are light on RWs too, and the coach got fired the day before, so emotions are high. Strome will do well under a different coach because he believes in him, unlike Cappy.

I think Strome's problem is he needs to be playing center not wing.

^ Either way the evaluation isn't even close. The Isles are going to hold onto Strome and see how he responds under a new coach. The aren't going to sell low, and especially not for this offer
