Philly is stuck in a constant cycle where they make the yoffs 1 year, and then miss the next year.

It's been happening for a while now.

They missed the yoffs this year so they have a guaranteed chance of making the yoffs next year

That will never happen. They will resign him when the time comes and his salary and Couts will basically flip flop. Giroux and the Flyers have agreed that he will retire as a Flyer. He's not going anywhere
