I feel like Vrbata could be a good fit here. Maybe Michael Stone from Coyotes as well to add a little RHD depth. Both would aid in the depth of positions that are a bit on the thin side in Edmonton.

Stone probably would be a second and a prospect, maybe Griffin Reinhart. Vrbata probably fetch a second round pick. I see the Oilers picking only one of these players, if they were to make any of the trades at all.

If somehow the Oilers found a way to acquire both Stone and Vrbata, I think they could be one of the most dangerous teams in the west. Far fetched trade to get both in one swoop but it'd make the Oilers very dangerous.

Exactly but would vrbata want a huge raise ? An stone what would they both get in the off season or would both just be rentals?

I would love it if they got Ryan Ellis and a rental on rw.

Personally I'd love to sign oshie in the off season

I was just thinking rentals for this year at least. I doubt it'd work to resign even one or both given that McJesus and Draisaitl will need extensions within the year and following year.

Id love to see them make a trade of Nuge for ellis, sign oshie, and then make a trade involving eberle for a cheaper 2c.
