Description
some of the goals this offszn with the pens are somewhat known. so i have some questions about potential player they could sign or aquire
simmonds - obvisouly hes not the same guy he was in Philly but i still think he can offer a lot to a team like the pens who want size and tuffness. playing with blueger and tanev would be great for him and he can produce some goals for this team. also like tanev he would provide tons of energy.
coleman - he is on almost every ACGM i click on and rightfully so. he's a great winger, provides scoring and isn't afraid to mix it up with anyone.
armia - a big body who is great in the o-zone. he could potentially be a nice to addition to play alongside sid and give him a new look. i'd sign him to a 1yr deal and see what he can produce
mrazek - was injured for a part of the season but put up some good numbers. nedjelkovic seems like the guy in carolina and i think he'd help jarry and this team out immensely in their for #4
ullmark - another guy who'll be approached by a lot of teams. he put up great numbers considering he was in buffalo last year. the only concern with him is playoff experience and how much money he'd be asking for
tatar is a healthy scratch in montreal so he'd be worth taking a look at for the right price, same thing for guys like nemeth, goodrow, bogosian and merrill

I really like the idea of targeting either one or two of Armia, Goodrow, Coleman for forward, I am not sure Simmonds will be a sully kind of player (speed being the issue). For defense I like Merrill or Forbort. Definitely need another goalie to play 1A to Jarry. I do like Mrazek and Ullmark as the best goal tending options. Mrazek has playoff experience but Ullmark is like Lehner in the sense that he has put good numbers for a truly terrible team. But both goalies had their share of injuries this past season.

ya i had the same thoughts with simmonds. maybe hextall and burke can change his mind about playing guys like that. and getting a goalie is almost a must and they could either keep desmith or trade him for something useful but we'll see
