Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Not an Oilers fan, and I know that by all reports, the Oilers Brass want to bring back Barrie, but with Bouchard just sitting there, i don't understand it. I went out and got some good veterans that have proven that they work alongside better players and can grind it out to chip in offense or play shutdown hockey. Coleman, Hyman, Danault can all chip in while playing match-up roles, Perry for another grindy veteran, but the big acquisition has to be a goaltender.

Choices for goalie basically boiled down to:
Andersen - coming off a down year, dont want to risk it.
Grubauer - Colorado likely to re-sign after a great year.
Ullmark - He's going to want starter term, and after Koskinen, don't think they'll commit term to an unproven starter.
Rask - If Boston lets him go and he doesn't retire, he seems like the best on the market, so a 1 year deal at his current cap hit could get him to come over.

I also think Holloway could play in the top 6 over McLeod, and then Archibald could be a healthy scratch, but at least opening night I think it's more likely Archibald is in and Holloway is in the AHL.
