I'm expecting the Leafs to sign Granlund. Dubas was trying to get him at the trade deadline.

No it isn't. It's realistic. Granlund made 3.75 mil last year and he's a UFA at 29 years old. Good C's are scarce.

I know hes definitely gonna get atleast 4 million maynbe more I’m just saying I wouldn’t do it

Nah. Even if Tampa loses Coleman, Goodrow, Palat, Johnson, Savard.... they're still the clear favourites in the Atlantic next season.

This might work. Call Yzerman. Detroit will be a 3rd team and take a 4th round pick to retain cap. Like they did with Tampa and Columbus in the Savard trade.
