"For that"

You mean a 25 year old 1C/1RW locked up for 6 years and a 2nd? Come on

They’d be reluctant to include Chychrun in an Eichel deal… so yeah coyotes decline this deal rather easily

Agreed & I'm a Sabres fan. Coyotes would be crazy to move Chychrun

You obviously haven’t seen Chychrun play… would have been a Norris contender this year on a better team. He also led the league in goals by a defenseman.

Would you trade Dahlin to the Coyotes for Garland and a 2nd?

I mean your evaluation on Reinhart is way off if Garland is your comp. My god

Reinhart has a 6 year deal? I missed that. Oh, and at $7.5 million cap hit. For a winger (he is not a C).

Chychrun is a bonafide #1 D on the rise. Signed to an amazing contract (4 more years at $4.6). And he is 23 years old. He is close to untouchable ESPECIALLY considering the Coyotes only have 3 NHL D signed and one is on the trade block (OEL). Reinhart and a 2nd is not close to what it would take.

^Isnt this the first year he has played predominantly at C due the Eichel injury? Do you know many minutes he has played as a C vs RW over the past 3 seasons?

As a first line forward, where do you rank him as a C? As a RW?

Admittedly, he would be the 1C on the Coyotes but that is not saying a lot. He is NOT good enough of a 1C to consider trading Chychrun for him.

He has played both center and wing. He transitioned back to center under competent coaching and was top 10 in the NHL in goals
