do you not believe Eichel is a top ten player? cause if not this may make sense to you but im sure Buffalo would rather sit Eichel this year if this is the best offer they get.

For me Eichel is a great player but not top 10 in the league. I heard BUF wants a lot but if they want much more than that, then they have gotten to the point where no one is interested anymore.

i think thats the point they are selling what they believe is a top 10 player they are not going to take anything less and a counter offer would include a 1st and a 3rd. think what the duchene deal and the karlsson deal got.
