Description

It's time to cut the dead weight, liquidate any assets we can reasonably get rid of, and start the rebuild around the core of Mantha-Larkin-Athanasiou.

Trade Vanek and Smith on expiring deals at the deadline to contenders, maybe someone wants Ott for a playoff run at zero risk, and see if you can offload Howard to avoid him getting claimed by Vegas.

This should free up enough space to afford Tatar in the summer, but I'm all ears on him and Nyquist. If anyone wants Kronwall or Ericsson, I'm more than willing to retain.
