Yes I know I'm over cap this is the reason. I say don't look at the trades as the final team and more like a model and more look at splitting the 3 10 millions players. Give each player a line with a quality player (Nylander,Mccann and a FA/Trade player) and a decent player (Chucky,Robby,Mikheyev pray mikheyev works on finishing) Robertson is the key here he need to step up big time

The goalie could be Fleury. Could be Kuemper. Could be a FA signing.

Robertson is not ready for the NHL

MIN and MTL, both interested in him, can crush that offer for Dvorak. Need to add to that deal.

Fleury just won the Vezina and you want VGS to retain salary for a 5th round pick. 😱

McCann is gone unless Kerfoot is traded with pick/player/prospect for Seattle

Yea had Robby there but he hasn't played RW before. I think mikheyev can work with Tavares and McCann if he works on his finishing game. Just anywhere close to pre injury mikheyev and were fine

No. I said it's more of a template. I think the Dvorak deal you add a prospect on it. Anything more is overpaying what other team will pay. And the Fleury being there mainly was to have a goalie at 3.5m which I think leafs will get a goalie for less cap

IMO paying 3.5mil for a backup is too rich for this team, especially when so tight against the cap and every dollar counts.

It's more so just that "hey we could" and since we were linked to fleury too. I don't know what he's worth since knights want the shed cap and ppl still rather Lehner (since I heard more Fleury rumors) it could be a FA who makes 2m which gives more cap for a player more ready than robby
