Sabres are giving up a first and second for jack Campbell why?

1. Why are we trading Campbell???
2. What on earth is that Buffalo trade. You dont have to pay that much to get rid of Kerfoot's contract, my god. There isnt even an immediate need to get rid of it at all.
3. That Arizona trade is terrible. Why are you giving up a good depth piece in Brooks, and two picks to trade down? Your logic here is very flawed.
4. Tuukka wants to stay in Boston, and giving him that contract is a bit of an L. Campbell is half of that contract, younger, and still a phenomenal goalie.

why in the hell would buffalo trade their 1st next year (which will be a top5 pick most likely) for Campbell???

This is horrible. I’m not even sure what you are trying to put together.
I’m not sure where to start. First of all Kerfoot’s value is almost the amount you gave away to ‘dump’ him for whatever reason. He is certainly not a cap dump.
Then you pay a promising younger C, a 2nd and a 4th to dump Engvall, excuse me!? If anything, he just gets waived and sent to the minors or claimed off waivers.
Then you trade OUR STARTING GOALIE to a team who would definitely not pay a probable Wright/Savoie/Lambert.
