Check out those possession metrics for this year and compare them to Staal's or your boy Girardi's. The amount of egregious errors those two make makes me wanna vomit. Staal has puck on his stick in defensive zone and stands there then turns it over.. and clendening can't defend. Like G or staal. G is better than staal tho. Clendening is an AHLER.

Any NHL coach, not just AV would play DG and Staal in top 6, even top 4 especially playoff time. Sure they're both sloths and get exposed, yet they're heavy shutdown d that frustrate star opposition. Clendening needs pampered minutes cause he's a spare at best, Kamfer is more trusted. Possession metrics shmetrics, it's all pampered minutes. "Fact". Hrivik is ahler. VGK aren't taking KK. Braun and Boedker aren't that good especially for that money and term. Rather Demelo and Ward (who is clutch for 1 year).
