Description

Here how I would be structuring the management team:

President: Jeff Gorton - He has done a great job in other roles across the league, especially in rebuilding markets/drafts which is where the habs need a lot of help

GM: Mathieu Darche - He doesn't have much experience, but pairing him with Gorton would soften the landing. Has done well so far in Tampa, and is more of an analytical guy which is similar to the best GMs in the league

Director of Player Development/Assistant GM: Judd Brackett - Not sure what role, but did a great job drafting and developing players in Vancouver. Fire Timmins and put the guy that drafted Petey, Hughes and Boeser in (also he did all this with Benning telling him what to do). I know he's under contract with the Wild, but if they could get him somehow it would be awesome.

Yep its all starting. I believe there will be trades by Christmas and the team will be gutted by Tdl.

i dont understand the judd bracket move. petey and hughes are top 10 picks and the nucks never developed them. boeser was developed in the ncaa. who has van developed that isn't a high end pick?
id rather they hire marty madden. fits the french category (idc about that personally) but loook at his draft record. he's hit on almost all of his 1st rd picks, and he's drafted the likes of troy terry, josh manson, and fredrick andersen in later rounds.

I'm from vancouver so Ik how everyone analyzes his moves and everyone's a fan. Canucks drafting before Judd was Jouilevvi, Virtanen, etc. then after he was brought in it was Petey (who was considered a reach), hughes, boeser, poldkozin (sorry for spelling) and hoglander. The rest of Canucks management is awful but he managed to do good while he was here
