Lots of offseason movement

Description
These would all be draft day trades pretty much.

Avs take first overall pick or trade down to select Nico Hischier (team is better served drafting a left shot C as MacK and Compher are already right shots Cs). Hischier may already have surpassed Patrick as the overall #1 pick with his play this year.

Avs also would be smart to pick up a quality veteran free agent who can play at a high level and provide some locker room leadership that the team is clearly missing. This would obviously also have to be the right fit contract wise too, don't want to sign an albatross of a contract.

Trades
1.
COL
  1. Drouin, Jonathan
  2. Garrison, Jason
Additional Details:
I doubt Garrison waives his NTC for the Avs but whatever
TBL
  1. Barrie, Tyson
  2. Greer, AJ
Additional Details:
Right shot d men are very valuable, but Drouin looks like he will be a really special player (and alongside MacKinnon a lethal player).
2.
COL
  1. Slavin, Jaccob
Additional Details:
Slavin definitely has top pair potential that he is already playing up to.
CAR
  1. Duchene, Matt
  2. Wiercioch, Patrick
Additional Details:
Duchene agrees to re-sign with Canes for 4 year minimum once his current contract expires. Canes receive Colorado's 2019 first round draft pick if Duchene breaks agreement and pursues free agency.
3.
COL
  1. 2017 6th round pick (BUF)
BUF
  1. Barberio, Mark
Additional Details:
After acquiring Slavin, there's now an overload of mediocre defensemen the Avs need to rid of.

Goloubef isn't great at all, Bigras is a solid young blueline piece who suffered some unfortunate concussion issues. Goloubef got traded for a minor league depth defender in Stanton. That doesn't even fetch a 7th rounder. Two separate ends of the spectrum.

1. If we get 1st OA we are drafting Nolan Patrick. He's he best player.
2. The Tampa trade is pretty much what I expect. Tb4 + X for drouin, garrison (cap relief) + X. Drouin signed to a similar deal to Mackinnon. All these ppl thinking he is getting 4 to 5.5 are really low balling him IMO. If they TBay don't want to move drouin I would excent tyler Johnson.
3. With that second center position wrapped up we could then move duchene. Duchene + weirco + X for Slavin + 1st rd pick this or next year + X should do it. IMO Slavin would be better for avs but Noah would be xcepted to.
4.I think they will keep barbs. Reason 1 he's been pretty good for his role. Able to play on all lines. 2 I think they should move beau. Then his spot becomes barbs. 3. If unprotected he could be taken by Vegas. I think Comeau will be taken. But that's just me.
5. I think 92 should also be moved. If you can get a 1st + dman+ prospect do it. He has gr3at leadership, but his production needs to be there. I think its time to move on from him. IF we get drouin he takes the top LW. Rant is a solid second line RW. When jost comes we have a solid top 6 LW and I think Sven could be a decent plug player as a top RW for now. Till this year's top pick is ready
