Tiers
Tier I: Franchise Player (LW)
Tier II: Top 6/ top 4, core player (C)
Tier III: Middle 6 or middle pair D, solid pieces (RW)
Tier IV: Bottom 6/ 3rd pair D, depth pieces/ fringe NHLer (LD)
Tier V: Bottom roster NHLer/ AHL tweeners (RD)
Tier VI: AHLers, longshots and others (healthy Scratches)

To be fair I included all 1st year players or players with under 60 NHL games played. and also have to be 24 or under (Barabanov has less than 60 games but is 27 Middleton is 26)
Goalies are their own category and all catergories are ranked by skill and potential and not by how close they are to NHL ready.
Eklund is viewed as a franchise player and will be a game changer in his prime so he gets the 1st tier but I wouldn't argue with anyone saying he is more a strong Tier 2 guy.
the rest should be set pretty much where they should be though I will accept all arguements to move guys up or down.

yea I should have him in tier 4 but he has been playing well this year and I went to far.
