I don't think DET will rebuild either but whats the point of Niemi? To play behind Mrazek and Howard? Gee that's an expensive third string goalie.

If anything I suggest trading Lehtonen and a 3rd to DET for Howard and hope he regains form

It's a good start, but you'd have to be taking Howard back, as LeafsFan said.

Agree I would be shocked if howard back with the wings.
Leafs I like that Howard for Lehtonen move but really don't think Kari regains anything and most likely a buyout target.
