Description
Minnesota and Ottawa have been scouting each other a lot. Ottawa is reportedly interested in Fiala, but who are the Wild after? Tierney? I doubt we'd use this much time scouting a 4C... Meanwhile Talbot has been extremely shaky as of late.

Let me know how crazy this idea is, and if you'd accept this as Ottawa.

I can't explain it that well but basically we get the 24th selection of the 2nd round because Johansson (a 1st round pick) didn't sign a ELC with us. Michael Russo reported it. It's in the CBA per my understanding.

My question, is this a valuable in terms of after drafting a G in 1st round to trade 2nd round pick for a G whose majority until thus year has been back and forth between NHL and AHL ?

That G you drafted in the 1st round isn't helping the team right now. And won't do that until a few years.

And if Talbot continues to be terrible, you need help in the crease.

He is a UFA. Wallstedt won't help us this season since we will sign him for 22-23. He'll be NHL-ready in 2023, at the earliest. Forsberg is a rental that could help now and then we'd let him walk or give him a 1-year extension
