hes better on defense and a better playmaker and playdriver

Suzuki is a far far far better hockey player than Thomas. He has a better shot, better hands, better IQ and obviously, number 14 is a better leader in his team and he is never injured. (I will be very sad if Gallagher becomes the captain instead of Suz.)
Suzuki = Giroux
Thomas = more like Bryan Little (is going to be good but not so much)

Defensively I think that both are equal but Suzuki has some advantage because of his Crosby's size.

Thomas is rarely injured other then minor precautions sometimes
Thomas never shots but is able to tape to tape pass to anyone anywhere on the ice
Hes better on defense and a more responsible player
he also has very good hands

Suzuki is a better player than Thomas that's it. Suzuki has the same passing ability than Thomas but he is able to shoot and talk with his teammates.
