Description

Like you can see, during the next drafts, we'll need to find players that can play top 6 minutes on a 1st or 2nd line. I put Farrell and Roy on the 3rd because I like that line but they have the potential to play on a 2nd.

For the defense, on the left side, we are set with Guhle, Romanov, possibly Harris and Struble. On the right side, Mailloux will probably play on the second pair but we need to find a top pair RD and a RD to put on the third pair but Struble or Norlinder are fine until we find someone.

For the goalies, we have good prospects but I'm not sure there is a future starter (we'll see) and Dobes, Dichow and Primeau are good. We will need to find someone like a Jesper Wallstedt caliber to be our starter

The players that are scratched are all players that can play on the bottom 6.

That’s a lot of holes ahah! I think it would be beneficial for them to draft a defence man this year, and round out that defence. Getting Nemec, or Jiricek should do it! I think that defence would look pretty good with one of them. Also, isn’t Primeau going to be the starter? I know he’s not playing well, but give him some time.. he will get better. Look at Skinner, he was bad till this year.. some goalies just take more time.

You're right I really like Nemec. I think it will depends on where we are drafting this year but Wright, Cooley, Nemec and Slafkovsky are great candidates. Yes Skinner is playing great for you this year. The goalies are not really a priority for us and we'll let Primeau develop more and see. Same thing for Dobes and Dichow.

Yah I believe you can always get offence later, either through drafting or free agency, but defence is harder.. especially a RHD. If you get first, of course you get Wright, and get a good center depth, but if you don’t get 1OA, they should try and get Nemec, or Jiricek. That defence with one of them, would look pretty good! I also believe Primeau will be good, they just need to develop him, and wait for a while for him. I mean look at Binnington for example. He has bad till he was 25 or 26, and now he is good. Of course he is not having the best season right now, but he will turn it around.
