This isn't fanboy glasses, you walnut. This is reality. A team that just signed its heart-and-soul captain to a four year extension isn't going to trade him right as it kicks in. That's not how the league works. Everyone in a vacuum is tradeable, sure, but sometimes players mean more to their teams than numbers on a spreadsheet. I know a Leafs fan can't relate to that, and for that I'm sorry for you.


Two things lol walnut chirp i like it im using it in the future. Second for sure i can understand that while a leaf fan im not one of those ones. to be honest i missed that he just signed that extension so with that point that trade is basically impossible to make unless it was huge.

And the other 2 were years ago with a different GM

all i said was they've messed up in the past and i was hoping for another........ you said what mess ups then proceeded to agree with me. regardless of whos in management everyone makes mistakes. **** you could make that deal and muzzin wins the norris who knows. its for fun
