Keeping it simple

Description
Leaf's simple off season in my mind.

Woods trade

Coming off injury and talk of NJD's not qualifying him. Trade gives NJD two prospects including Robertson who is considered pretty good (Though injury issues) I do not for see Woods signing for a massive amount as like I said he is just coming back from Injury and would likely still have to prove he is good (Kase type deal)....numbers may not be perfect.

DeSmith/Comrie

If Campbell is not going to sign and Leaf's are looking for cheap decent tandem I think these two could be good. DeSmith has had decent numbers in Pittsburgh throughout their goalie carousel, maybe getting a chance to be a starter could be good for him.

Marchment

Adds size, strength and scoring and maybe helps mend the fact that Dubas messed up by trading him originally. Price tag may be off to some but he has really only played one full solid season so still young in the league.

Gagner

Add's veteran depth. This could also have been a Cogliano but figured if COL wins cup he may want to stick around there with them.

If not Gagner or a veteran depth piece then they could play Joey Anderson or Nick Abbruzzese and see what they have in a full time role with the big club.

Let me know what you think or any changes to $$ or value for the trade.

Oh also just flat out bought out Mrazek, there is really no point of giving up valuable assets for him to be gone.

Maybe but Robertson's injury history may be an issue and the leaf's need more hardnosed players rather then small skilled players. I was gonna go Robertson straight up for Woods. What would you say would be a good asking for Woods?

Wood might not even get a qualifying offer and Marchment gets way more than that

Also an absolutely terrible trade. Just completely divorced from reality.
