Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Expansion Draft:
Vegas is given Girgensons Rights for taking Ennis, while Ennis ia a major cap hit his upside is just as big. High Risk High Reward, even if not they get the Latvian motor in Gigrensons in the deal.

2017 NHL Draft:
The new GM will look to bolster the defense with puck moving D-Men and two way D-Men. They fill the hole with a two way/Offensive D on Antipin. Calvin Dee Haan should not cost the Sabres alot as he has not played up to his potential and only costing them a high 2nd Round pick and a potential top 6 forward in Fasching will give them this opportunity to still keep the 8th overall pick and replace Fasching or draft a Prospect for the D-corps.

NHL Buyout:

Moulson - need I say more..

NHL Free Agency:

Sabres new GM will look to give Sam and/or Eichel someone to give and get the puck similar to his line with Team USA obviously Kunitz nor Ohsie is Johnny Hockey but that helps and the Sabres finally sign Cullen

Looks good! Nothing flashy except for Oshie. That is the only move I question. It would be a very solid pickup, but, IMO, he is the best UFA forward on the market, and he will garner at the very least 5.5 mill/year for 4-5 years. I doubt our new GM shells out huge money again for a forward. Completely agree with buying out Moulson, but I also would buy out Gorges or Bogo. We are going to need about 9-10 mill of cap space next year for Eichel's extension and sam's probable bridge contract.

I agree Oshie will demand that top money, but Jack also needs someone to play along side him and given Kunitz who played with Crosby and Oshie who played with Backstrom/Ovi I think that is a great role for those two. Gorges I can wait on buying him out he only has a year left on his contract so stick on the low pairing or not even at all if Guhle is ready. Gorges is a good NHL player still just has been forced into top paring minutes. Bogo I would give one more year under a new coach and see what happens, worst comes to worst he plays on the bottom pairing.

I like everything about this but i agree with elltrain. Oshie will need more given that he was the caps leading goal scorer this season but i don't see why the new gm wouldn't like to make a splash . The biggest disagreement i have with this is the kunitz deal....
NO!!!!!!! 4 million for kunitz?! no. no. no. Use that 4 mil on another defense man and let oshie mix with jack besides kunitz, I could totally get behind this!
