Smith and Klefbom retire

Driedger is a goalie who had a bad year playing on a bad team. His 2 years prior to the 2022 season he was pretty good, and I think he can bounce back this season with a change of scenery. Could be a good backup if he bounces back. Who knows...maybe he could be better than Desmith and take over the starter role 🤷‍♂️

Casey Desmith can be a solid starter who would probably have a save percentage of .910 or greater

Oilers Defence is pretty bad but I can't see them making many changes even though they probably should. Ceci and Kulak I thought were pretty good in the playoffs and need to be on the team next year. Aho can slightly improve their Defence. Keith isn't going to retire and needs to play on the bottom pair with a reliable D-partner.

Puljujarvi should be resigned to a 1 or 2 year deal. I can see him being signed to around 2mil

Kane isn't resigned due to his asking price. The oilers don't have enough cap space for him so he'll have to go somewhere else.
