MacK extension with Kane

Description
So this factors in the MacKinnon extension, which I might honestly be low on at 7yr/$84 mil but *shrug*... A top line of Landeskog, MacKinnon, and Kane would be unstoppable, with Toews and Makar on the blue line? Forget about it. Especially the inferior bottom 6 and the fact Kurtis MacDermid would be relied upon as the 6th Dman.. yeah, just don't even worry about that...

Can't give 40 millions to 4 players, look at the Leafs.

The 10.5M you gave Kane could have been used to bring back Burakovsky AND Lehkonen ! I also doubt MacKinnon will get 12 according to what he has said in the past.

The Yandle-MacDermid pairing would certainly be: entertaining to watch.

Zacha as a "buy-low" candidate (ala Nichushkin) is appealling.

I guess the only logic twist is that your proposal has 2023-24 MacK contract and current year for everyone else.

Byram and Newhook would need extensions; EJ's contract would expire, and Patrick Kane hit the open UFA market (and no way does he get $10.5 million); so the Avs don't need to trade for him.

Oh I know, I did this one just for sh!ts and giggles, to see if I could even make it work really. And I don't think Mack signs for anything more than $12.5 per year; he's not a selfish guy, and he knows if he wants to win again, he can't handcuff the team by asking for the richest contact in the sport

I... uh... did not think about all that.
Great points, all of them lol... The only thing I'd say about trading for Kane right now, is let's get him before someone else does? Lol idk
