Fair enough. Wouldn't you rather just sign a serviceable D-man for a year? I honestly think Broberg is gonna be just as good as Chychrun. Or maybe trade for Provorov?

I did a roster for Provorov and his cap hit scare me lol There's not much wiggle room and the cap hit doesn't make sense for some players.

Didn't even think of cap hit tbh lol. I just think trading for Chychrun could screw Edmonton in the end.

They gotta go for it now cause their window to contend is 3-4 years. They gotta make good use of the cap space they have now. Chychrun's contract is really attractive and it lines up perfectly with Drai's contract(term).
