I don’t know how it works or effects the cap unlike a cap hit. Can someone please explain the differences it has to a p hit or anything for that matter? In Lindblom’s case the cap hit is -333333. Does is mean that gain that space 333333 in space?

Philly gets $333,333 in additional cap space for this season. and then they have $666,666 in dead cap the following season from the buyout.
