Obviously, it's day 1 of a long off-season but im surprised nothing of significance was done today as reporter Renaud Lavoie had said in his podcast the Habs had a deal in place with an un-named team and were waiting to announce it (he mentioned Petry + Poehling in the same deal)

This new management group will not be fooled/bullied/tricked into doing something stupid. There is no reason to make this team any better in the immediate future. You should be happy your GM is actually educated for once.

Even so, this isn't really the time to be moving anyone. Most teams are trying to build their rosters thru FA. Wait until the deadline after a few of your players have hopefully restored their image and when teams are more willing to pay a premium for UFA's and retained players on bad contracts. It happens every year.
