Sharks probably do that. Rather trade Chmelevski though

Probably should try and fine a more experienced 4th line center. Abruzzese has no experience playing center at the NHL level. Leafs should get one of Tierney, Steel, Lummikko, Gagner, or V. Rask on a 750k deal. Other than that the leafs roster should be set after trading Holl and Kerfoot and signing Sandin and Engvall.

I could see the leafs just trying to get a 2nd for Kerfoot. However, a 3rd and a decent fringe nhl player could work. Could you tell me a little about Chmelevski and Reedy though?

Sharks aren’t really competing so i can’t see paying too much for Kerfoot. He might not even waive to SJ.

I tend to agree in regards to needing a more experienced 4th line center. That being said, I am of the thought that we are lacking some size and snarl in the lineup.

Yeah, that is true. I thought of that while making the ensuing trade with the Sharks. I do figure that would at least be ballpark value for Kerfoot.

If their trying to do that they should sign Lammikko who could be there 4th line center, 6'2 191 ibs and he would be 2nd on the leafs forward in hits behind Simmonds. Or they could go out and sign ZAR 6'0 204 ibs who is top 10 in forwards in hits.

I ended up adding him at $850000 on a 1 year deal.
