Been a force for almost 15 years. Take it in stride and don't do what Ken Holland did in Detroit and Boston will be back in 2-3 years

To add to this, Sweeney took over around 2014-2015 when the Bruins were going downhill, unloaded bad contracts at the time (Lucic), and managed to swindle three 1st round picks. Although these picks haven't quite worked out, two years of missed playoffs and then back to game 7 of the cup final in 2019. Sweeney was able to perform this small rebuild relatively quickly compared to some other teams around the league
