And a fine says its not legal, right? Or don't you understand that? Plus you're still comparing a fight to legal bodychecks which shows your level of hockey knowledge, which is zero.

Level of dirtiness is still the same which overall shows your level of hockey knowledge. The only way a player gets suspended in the playoffs if it’s a sure as hell headshot. Either way it doesn’t really seem worth it since the worst you can get is 2 games in the playoffs.
And to mention Wilson’s intent, no one was trying to throw punches at him. No one started anything with him. What’s the point of calling it a fight when he just starts jumping guys and throwing punches at the them when they are already on the ground. But this time he slammed a guys head to the ice and he didn’t even face any extra punishment for that. So I guess him slamming Panarin head in to the ice is clean and that would be according to you.

Yeah, you just can't compute the logic. A scrum/fight is not the same thing as a legal bodycheck. You don't get that, which is hard to believe, but oh well. Cry about Trouba handing out legal hits all you want, that's your right.

The funny thing is I’m talking about what Trouba could’ve done to Palat. And you just keep ignoring the intent there. Luckily Palat was able to dodge that. Just cause he missed it doesn’t make up the level of dirtiness and intent. What he did to Guentzel was by far dangerous and dirty and somehow got away with it. The Crosby thing was a weird collision. Just cause he’s on your team it doesn’t change anything. Grow up

You want to judge and punish a player for things he didn't do, so who needs to grow up? Hockey is a contact sport if you hadn't noticed.

You sound as bad as caps fans defending Tom Wilson when he does something dirty

The difference is "when he does something". When Trouba gets called for a head shot, fined or suspended, I will acknowledge it. But from what I see, he plays a CLEAN but hard game. Your players don't like that...they can always take up tennis.

Considering Parros is in charge of player safety. It’s gonna take a lot for players to get suspended. I don’t ignore the fact that Trouba plays a good game and can flatten a guy. But there’s dirtiness there at times. Especially with that hit on Guentzel that was never really mentioned. And with Palat he put his elbow up and Palat ducked under it to literally prevent himself from being taken out of the series or even the rest of the playoffs. I bring those up and you just keep ignoring it. So why would you even acknowledge him getting suspended? You’d be going out of your own way to say “clean” and “he did nothing wrong”

Because any player can cross the line, but I don't call them out for it until they do it. Might have, could have, would have, all mean nothing. Plus, even a very clean player can end up dishing out a dirty hit by accident because its a very fast game and sometimes guys move at the last second and they get hit high. It happens. Some players do that because its how they play, but that isn't Trouba. He plays hard but clean, but if he ever crosses the line, I'll call him on it. Hasn't happened yet and may never. We shall see.

You say it means nothing, maybe that only applies to you

I say it means something when it actually happens, which is different.
