Galaxy Brain Idea:
Cirelli is likely to hit LTIR for the first month of the season, so in order to maximize ACSL, this could be the opening night 23 man roster.

1. Waive Myers and bury $1.425,000 of his salary (risk losing him to waivers, though)
2. Keep Goncalves up as a scratch for opening night only provided he is expected to stay in Syracuse ($820k cap hit)
3. Same thing with Mismash or Koepke (both salary is $842,500)
4. Keep one of the league minimum guys in the lineup. I have Ryfors in the lineup, but you have Smith, Day, etc. that could make the lineup.
5. Place Cirelli on LTIR after opening night and gain $4.8 million in cap room
6. Call up Myers and adjust the lineup accordingly.

This whole thing allows for maximum roster flexibility while Cirelli and Bogo are on LTIR. It gives the team the opportunity to bring up young guys for cups of coffee. The recent cap crunch along with the pandemic has created a logjam in Syracuse, and guys like Fortier and Barre Boulet have suffered as a result. Granted, this whole thing blows up if Myers is claimed :)
