Only happens if Enstrom is unwilling to waive his NMC for the expansion draft but is ok with being traded to a non rebuilding team. This way the jets can protect more forwards rather than going the 4 and 4 route

Enstrom would be a mistake! He's simply not good! He hasn't had 1 down year. He's had 3 consecutive. He might be a 5/6 D this year if he was on MTL, definitely not playing with Weber... Last year is his ceiling for this year. At least with Emelin you know not to expect anything

He has certainly been a shell of his former self (didnt realize he had been bad for that long) but I still think he could complement Weber well and is a pretty low risk move as he is a UFA at the end of the year. Montreal really needs some one other than Markov to play with Weber. Markov has been great but he is old AF and needs limited minutes.

eimilen can play a strong defensive physical game on a good day for him whereas enstrom is at the bottom of his ceiling
plus why do we need another defensemen...

love the duchene trade and would totally be willing to do it
