This makes the Canucks a worse team somehow, and you better hope we don’t end up with Jake Virtanen, Olli Juolevi, and Kole Lind with those picks.

What they should do is trade Horvat at the TDL for a blue chip prospect and completely revamp the blue line in the off-season. Be aggressive at the draft trading for high picks like the Rangers did to get Braden Schneider and K’Andre Miller.

Detroit laugh and passes, Perron is on pace for 63 points, No way are we trading a cheaper Perron for a more expensive Brock boeser.

Perron is on a 58 point pace, the same as Boeser

And Boeser is -14, Perron is -1. Boeser cost $2 million more and is only under contract for 1 more year than Perron is.

Detroit can get a much better return by keeping Perron and trading him at next years deadline.

While I agree that Detroit shouldn't make this deal due to cap, Boeser is 9 years younger and is also somehow on pace for 60 points this season

IDK, I don't really hate this from Detroit's perspective, esp if we can get VAN to eat some cap

That said, IDK why VAN does this if they want to rebuild...
