Because of Jeannot being worth 800k, an expiring RFA and a gritty powerforward, Poile probably wouldn't part with less than a 1st.

i mean he was happy to give the younger tolvanen away for nothing. i dont see anyone giving up a 1st for a 26 year old with 1 full season under his belt.

Tolvanen was a sniper who went underused, bad coaching from Hynes. They wanted to give him conditioning in Milwaukee, and thought that nobody would be interested in him.
Jeannot plays a more important role on the team. Poile probably isn't going to part with him, but also probably wouldn't take less than a 1st.
