In my opinion I would not give up Bowey to get rid of Orpik. Bowey should see NHL time next year most likely paired with Orpik. Gorges is not an upgrade at the position, he is still a 3rd pairing Dman that helps PK and that's about it. He doesn't hit or fight, but can block shots. Orpik is also a better leader IMO, and does all of those other things. Other than the trade though, the team looks pretty nice.
