I'm not taking on Krugers contract and taking on some of Nyquist as well.

Why not? Only 2 years left on Kruger's deal which if you have to you can bury some of it his final year. You get a bottom 4 Defenseman for the future and also draft picks. This trade sums up a rebuild on the fly.

Kruger is most likely going to Vegas, as it sounds they all ready have a deal in place.

Kruger is an overpaid #4C no way are we taking on his $3 million salary and retaining on Nyquist as well, Kruger isn't that great no way we're taking on more salary then shedding.

Kruger is a phenominal player, especially when it comes to possssion and penalty killing. There is a reason he has been part of so many successful teams in Chicago and for Sweden.
