🤣Don’t do him dirty. He’s a good player in limited systems but he didn’t deserve the contract MoRon gave him.

McGinn is good for a team in need of a third or fourth line forward not expected to score. Which team claims him?

McGinn actually is a pretty solid player. He is a great penalty killer and great analytically given his role. His contract just didn’t make sense given the Pens constraints. He should be claimed.

I hear ya, but that contract is bad. I hope that somebody claims him.

It’s really not that bad. It wouldn’t be a big deal for a team that isn’t currently paying Jack Johnson 1.9 million dollars, and Jeff Carter 3.2 million to attempt to skate.

I don't want Freidman to get claimed. He's a solid depth Dman, and if he does clear waivers it doesn't count against the cap like McGinn does.

The Penguins need to maintain depth in defense. It would be beneficial to claim McGinn over Friedman.

It's bad for the Penguins. I wasn't a fan of it at all when it was first signed. IMO they tried to hard to make up for losing Tanev to Seattle by overpaying McGinn

I'm not sure why they put him on waivers. He was a good and cheap depth D Man

I’m not sure that you understood what I said. Nonetheless, hopefully he will be claimed. He should be if Kap was.

Yeah, it is a little strange when they also put McGinn on waivers. Maybe, they assume neither will get claimed? If McGinn gets claimed then you probably didn't need to put Friedman on waivers. I don't know...this is shaping up to be a big trade in my opinion.
