Every thorton signing I've seen before has turned me off of a team. However the drouin trade really changes the dynamics of the lineup and I want to have the second line that you have for sure. This means pacioretty won't have radulov and will need another playmaker.. thorton would be ideal as a free agent. Having said that if it would be possible I would rather trade emelin than plekanec (we wouldn't have to give up a 2nd) and you forgot about Jerabek... I'm certain he will be a part of the top 6 D this season.
