yeah wasn't sure what to put. I'm a Sharks fan hoping we can trade Karlsson to see him on a good team and help along the rebuild

Why would the sharks do this. They get a few crappy picks and fk up their cap for a literal 100 pt dman

Why hang on to him? Sharks will not be good until end or past contract. During the rebuild over next 3-4 years they will have plenty of cap space.

Sharks have very few RD prospects. This addresses that. They also add a good offensive prospect in Robertson. Two additional first rounders don’t hurt.

EK65 is Sharks Heat trade chip to add assets towards rebuild but he will not be easy to move because of his contract, NMC and his only being a fit in select teams. Sharks will have to give quite a bit to get a deal done. Hopefully they do so in retaining salary instead of a smaller return.

They would just keep him rather than retaining 4.5 and taking TJs contract on top of that. 2 late firsts aren’t enough for all the sharks troubles in this scenario
