Description
New GM makes a few changes to give the core one more chance. A bit of speed added in Nyquist and Drouin gets another chance. I think perry is almost a for sure add on the 4th line and I think Eller would be good depth. Seversson is finally a top 4 D who shoots right. Leafs move on from Samsonov and recover picks lost to trade murray and sign Varlamov to tandom with Woll for 2 years. Brodie and Mantha makes sense to me. Washington wants to move him and I think Brodie would fit in nicely with Washington to replace orlov. Murray being traded to the wild is assuming that fluery is traded and they pick up some extra picks to eat a contract for 1 year.

Unless helle doesn't stay we won't want samsonov, and also there goaltending tandem wouldn't be good enough imo

The leafs will buy out Murray.
If they are going to give away that many picks, they will not be retaining any of his salary.

I'm assuming Fleury is being traded to Pittsburgh to play his last year. Opening up a spot for them to have a vetern goalie with their two young ones. Murray will likely be hurt most of the year and the wild have shown they will take cap for draft picks.

Once again fleury has made it clear he's not waiving his NMC. Also Made it clear he's not moving his family. Wild will not take on cap dump with their situation.
