Don’t really see a rebuilder picking up Oshie

I think they could post get positive value for Mantha. if they cant, they should prob just ride out the rest of his contract or retain a little salary in a trade to get some positive value on him

Any caps roster without CMM and Protas in the everyday lineup isn't realistic.

Whether or not a player is a salary dump is less about them and more about the team they are being shopped to. If a particular player (like 36 yo Oshie with a 5.7 cap hit and an NTC) doesn't fit at all in to a teams plans then you will have to either pay to dump them to that particular team or find another team. No 36 year old in the league figures into SJ's plans in the next 2-3 years unless they are a cheap FA or come with picks/prospects attached. Trading a 3rd and 4th for a low 2nd three years from now isn't really cutting it for 5.7m in cap.
