Schlemko taken by Vegas. Import Hanzal and Versteeg I think at good prices and no dance partner needed. Versteeg has bounced around a lot and injury history have made him a bargain. Hanzal is not stellar at anything but good at everything and it's nice to recoup size. Give Heed a shot on the blue line. Give Carpenter the 4th line. This leaves enough cap space to give Pickels and Jones their raises. Wards expiring contract can cover Hertl and Hansens bumps. Play Boedker with Hansen for defensive responsibility. Play Pavs and have Hanzal for his physical intimidation so less liberties get taken. Tierney gets veterans on his line with Wards board skills and Versteegs fire/tenacity. I think that line could have great chemistry and really build Tierneys confidence/trade value. Carpenter Donskoi and Karlsson make a great energy line with the ability to move up the lineup if injuries occur. We keep assets like Meier Labanc O'Regan for offense. Ryan and Demelo on defense. Solid shot at playoffs with flexibility and desirable assets at every position. Seems within the realm of what Wilson would do and he still has cap space and pieces to play with which he seems to relish.
