Flames Retool FLA POV

Description
Retooled the Flames and made all teams involved POVs.

This is the Florida POV with trades and filling out the roster.

Reinhart for Hanifin make sense in a way. Florida needs an upgrade on defense and Calgary needs a good forward. I'm not sure what needs to be added to the trade but I feel a one for one is close. Also having some team chemistry for each player should help.

Read somewhere that Carolina isn't going to resign Jordan Staal. He comes down to join his brothers to try and push for another cup.

Signed Kane to what I hope is a reasonable contract. He can help replace the offense that is lost by trading Reinhart.

If Samoskevich is ready then it would be great to bring him up, mostly to save the cap space.

Resigned the other two Staal brothers at league minimum again for depth. Same with Colin White. Jordan might possibly take a bit less and maybe Gudas does as well to stick around. Every little bit of savings possible will be needed as they would have around 9 players to resign, a lot of them needing raises.

They likely have to do something about Bob next season. Buyout only saves 3M and then creates another hole.

J Staal stays in Carolina for 1.5 million. Cmon now. He is likely looking 3.5 plus million a year for 2-3 years

I read somewhere that ownership wants to move on from him. I don't remember where so I can't source it. That's the only reason I made that signing. If it's just a BS rumour than I agree he is back in Carolina this season.

the likely agent source that said Dundon isnt being flexible on the contract offer, isnt saying that we want to move on. It says Tom Dundon (silliness) isnt playing ball in negotiations. If Staal would take a 1.5 mil deal, we would have signed that as early as January 1st.

Makes sense to me. I thought there was more to it than just money. Probably someone just over speculating.

The Staal family would love to only cheer for one team.
Besides they’ve all made millions by being overpaid earlier in their careers, why not play together for a year.
