Depends, if it was a late first I'd do it (say VAN acquires a late first this year) but if it was either our first this year or next year, probably not

Not sure why the Canucks need Sanheim unless you view him as a cost controlled player for 8 years.

He may be good for only 3-4 years, but the Canucks and fans don't want another OEL contract on the books.
