I am hoping it is a 3 way deal that includes Buffalo and us getting Pesce

Karlsson to SJ
Pesce to Buff
Sabres 1st 2024 Car 2nd 2024 and Jokiharu to SJ
San Jose retains 3 mil of Karlsson

Yeah but they are also paying for the $2.5M retention which San Jose does not want to do, and San Jose does not need to trade EK65 so its not like Grier has 0 leverage.

EK isnt pulling that with 2.5 of retention either.

I was originally going to do that, I have a post of the San Jose side where I send him to STL since Buff signed Johnson and Clifton.

I keep seeing Tarasenko as a rumor but not confirmed.

If it’s either or I’d rather pursue EK even though it will cost a lot more (I’m good with the overpay here btw, EK is a game changer)

But I’m hoping Waddell can off load Turbo and make some cap magic happen to get both.
