That deal is likely of zero interest to Francis. As good as Nylander and Brodie may be, they are on expiring contracts, meaning Seattle could very well be left with nothing in a year. And let's say Nylander extends---the headliner in this deal. . . . Why would Seattle be any happier than Toronto would be to meet Nylander's contract demands (?), especially at the loss of McCann, quite possibly one of the best value contracts in the league!?! Sure, Nylander may be better, but not at 4-5 million difference, IMHO
