Description

Basically the most likely scenario for the Bruins roster wise. Sway and Freddy get bridge deals and the lines are just a preference

Dont think JVR can keep up with the top 6 guys as his game has dropped off dramatically the last few szns, would rather see Merkulov/someone else get a shot

Another thing that would be interesting to follow is the goaltending situation. Obviously Sway is the biggest concern, but they got 3 capable goalies in Providence and it would be surprising if they run with a Bussi/Keyser/DiPietro trio. Have to think a goalie somewhere is getting moved soon

One of Keyser/DiPietro could end up in the ECHL. They have minimal trade value so the Bruins could have just not extended a qualifying offer if they wanted. They should try to trade Ullmark though.

ECHL is an option but both Keyser and DiPietro have been AHLers for a few szns now, would be surprised to see either of them demoted before being traded

I was all aboard the "trade Ullmark" train, especially before FA. Its still a possibility, but seemingly less likely now that theyve worked out their cap situation for the most part. BOS seems to want to keep the tandem intact to compensate for the lack of top 6Cs/scoring, but if it means acquiring a legit top 6C or a young prospect that can grow into one, then I'm all for it

I honestly believe it’s gonna be Geekie and Zacha on the top pairings. Love coyle and think he’s criminally underrated, but as a 3rd liner. I agree with your take on JVR and would be happy to see georgii get some ice time with pasta. Last note I’d give freddy 2x2 and sway 4x4.
Overall I like our chances and think we’re far from “finished” like our rabid rivals feel.
